Open Systems Approach (OSA)

The Open System Approach is considered today the most practical theoretical framework available. Systems theory studies phenomena from a holistic approach.

"A system may be described generally as a complex of elements or components directly or indirectly related in a causal network such that each component is related to at least some others in a more or less stable way within any particular period of time."
